Getting Started with the Dashboard

The HatchLedger Dashboard is your central hub for managing your entire reptile collection. Access it from the main navigation or go to Dashboard directly.


Dashboard sections:

  • Overview — At-a-glance stats: total animals, active clutches, eggs incubating, hatchlings, and today's feeding schedule
  • Animals — Your complete collection roster with search, filters, morph details, and weight tracking
  • Clutches — Active clutch monitoring with incubation countdown timers, egg status tracking, and expected morph outcomes
  • Feeding — Feeding schedule management with quick-log, overdue alerts, and acceptance rate tracking
  • Hatchlings — Hatchling development tracking with first-feed status, shed counts, and weight milestones
  • Health — Veterinary records, illness tracking, treatment logs, and follow-up reminders

    • Quick tips:

  • Check the Overview page daily for feeding reminders and hatch countdowns
  • Log feedings immediately using the quick-log form to keep records accurate
  • Use the AI assistant on any dashboard page for breeding advice and care guidance
