Overview
The Hova-Bator Genesis 1588 is a forced-air incubator with a factory-set circulating fan and a more precise electronic thermostat than the basic 1602N model. It maintains temperature within one degree Fahrenheit and is pre-calibrated at 99.5 degrees for poultry, but reptile breeders adjust the setpoint downward for species-appropriate temperatures. The forced-air fan makes temperature distribution more even than still-air models, reducing hot and cold spots.
