Publication requires claim-level evidence, clear scope, named accountability, and safety review proportionate to the risk.
Source hierarchy
Legal and regulatory claims require current primary authority from the relevant jurisdiction. Veterinary, husbandry, animal-welfare, and genetics claims require current authoritative or peer-reviewed evidence. Commercial, price, and product comparisons require dated first-party evidence and a reproducible method.
Qualified review
High-stakes claims must name the reviewer, credentials, jurisdiction or specialty, scope reviewed, review date, and material limitations. Organization authorship or an AI-generated byline does not satisfy this standard.
Testing and disclosures
Calculators need documented inputs, units, assumptions, bounds, provenance, test cases, and non-determinative output language. Software, pricing, security, storage, support, and integration claims require end-to-end verification. Material affiliations, compensation, and conflicts must be disclosed near affected content.
AI and corrections
AI may assist drafting or analysis but cannot be the accountable expert. A human owner must verify sources and claims before publication. Substantive corrections should state what changed and when; unsafe or unsupported pages remain withdrawn.
